Du Jie
Born in 1976, graduated from the Cinematography Department of Beijing Film Academy in 2001.
Du Jie first gained widespread attention after the films he shot as a cinematographer achieved significant success in the film market. Not only did these films enjoy commercial success, but they were also nominated for prestigious awards at several international film festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Tokyo International Film Festival, Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan, Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong, and the China Golden Rooster Awards.
In 2024, Du Jie joined the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC)

1981年4月生まれ、東京国際大学国際報道学部、国立華僑大学経営学修士。2002年に来日、監督として担当した長篇ドキュメンタリーは２０作以上及び、代表作に「大地は誰のものか」、「岐路に立つ中国の漁村～乱獲の果てに」など。 近年、映画、CMなどで日中両国の映像交流にも携わっている。
